Google - Microsoft Battle On
going after Google's Core business, Yeah you guessed it, its
Advertising. So, According to the newsletter
"Microsoft is clearly going after Google's core business, advertising,"
Well it seems to be a "voila" for the publishers who are banned from
adsense, as Google might become a bit lenient on its Policies and gives
you second chance(At least let me think that way). Its been overheard on
webosphere that microsoft will be having a merger between Yahoo and
Microsoft. As Microsoft will be a new player in this game then
definitely it is going to lure publishers as well as advertisers with
seductive offers.( I wonder If those Ads are also gonna crash that
Often). Or will it be like "Blue Screen Of Death" if you overloaded your
website with Ads.
Google is trying to take on Microsoft's core business too since quite
some time,( now you would be wondering what is that?) its work. Yeah
Microsoft's core business is not Windows, but work. They gave us a hint
when they Introduced "Writely". So both are gonna hurt each other in the
realm of each other's expertise.
Let's hope that this battle of theirs, brings fortune too poor
Publishers like us.
In Memory of all those who love their bosses !
but gets the bosses' wife instead.
"I'm afraid he died last week."
she explains. The next day the
man calls again and asks for
the boss. "I told you" the wife replies,
"he died last week." The next day
he calls again and once more
asks to Speak to his boss.
By this time the wife is getting
upset and shouts, "I'VE ALREADY
TOLD YOU TWICE, MY HUSBAND,
YOUR BOSS, DIED LAST WEEK! WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING?"
He replied laughing,
"I just love hearing it..."

An Interesting Study about Life
50 people watched a very funny, tears-of laughter type movie. 50 watched a very sad and tears of compassion type movie.
At the end of the sessions researchers collected the "happy tears" and the sad tears" with eye droppers.
They found that "happy tears" are made up of brine... salt water and not a great deal else
However the "sad tears" were found to contain the very same chemicals and enzymes that are found in tumors, ulcers and other such lumps and bumps and sicknesses through out the body.
This test concluded that the body, when crying in sadness etc is literally flushing out all of the toxic-chemicals that accumulate and are a part of the sadness /heartache experience.
Therefore if one holds back those tears, those toxic-waters will find somewhere else to deposit themselves.. . and prolonged lack-of-crying- release will guarantee that the body will accumulate a huge amount of internal pollution and toxicity that should have been released through the tears....... is it any wonder that the eyes sting so much when we hold back our
tears?

April's earning
be my first online payment. Its quite a headstart for a newbie like
me. Usually I don't display ads on this blog. The reason is this blog
is banned by adsense for encouraging users to click(huh! all I did was
to label those ads as useful links) and it doesn't qualify for TLA.
So all my ads are on some other blog of mine.
Here are the earnings.
Adsense- $362
TLA- $83
Exoclicks- $43
Adbux - $13
Others- $19
Total - $520
Man this internet affilates business is really cool and I kinda
started digging it.

A Dummy's Response to Technorati Fav Exchange
Darren started questioning this exchange program and was first criticized by Maki.
Well so far I have read following views on technorati favorite exchange.
- Maki's View
- Darren's View
- My Real Favorite Blogs
- Technorati Favorites Exchange Experiment: Whores, Prom, and Pig’s Blood
- Responding to Technorati Faves Criticism

- The Technorati 100 Not So Hot?
- The Technorati top 100 superficial list
- Technorati Favorites and The Cheaters Who are Cheating the System
- The Sad State of Technorati’s Top Favorited Blogs
The blogging geeks at top are having their reputation at stake whereas dummies like me are enjoying this experiment.
You can promote it in anyway. Its democracy on the blogosphere and its perfectly legal. But the question here is " Is it Ethical?". People who are really "deserving" to be in the list will not be in the list if the exchange program is a success. But what is that defines "deserving" to be in the top 100 list? More and more people should like the content of your blog.
Well someone adds you to his/her favorite only if they like the content of youtr blog. Well those who are liking the content of Maki's blog are adding it to their favorites. Well he may come up in top 100 list with his technorati fav experiment but Its for sure that dummies like me are not going to get into that list in near future.
Well certainly it will be an ego-booster for me as I see now that 20 persons have favorited my one month old blog, but if I ask a question to myself that whether I deserve that, I may find it difficult to find an answer.
But we can take this in a different way that our blog gets more exposure to others and we get know about other blogs
Its now a cool controversy which has become the talk of the blogosphere. Some are critcizing it and some are appreciating it.
Well I'm just a dummy and I don't know whether I'm right or wrong but I feel that technorati can overcome the experiment anytime by following some simple techniques. They can change the algorithm of their ranking startegies. They can rank a
blog by
actual number of faviorites =
no. of persons who have fav the blog - no. of blogs that have been fav. by the blog's owner
well offcourse its not foolproof but if a dummy like me can come up with something like this then they are "Technorati". They don't have to worry much about this. And may be they are enjoying this controversy. They may be planning to relaunch it as a social-networking site:p.
